					<description><![CDATA[I appreciate the good info as far as it goes.  I won&#039;t use the medicated feed either.  Have had goats for almost 7 years on less than 1/2 acre.  Don&#039;t use any coccidiostats or other anti-parasite chemicals.  Just make sure they get enough copper and sulfur in the diet, per Pat Coleby&#039;s Natural Goat Care via the mineral mix she recommends.  So got my first hundred chicks almost 2 months ago, am adding 1 T raw apple cider vinegar to the water along with 1 T molasses, but was still having problems until I started adding !/4 t cayenne pepper per gallon of water.  Perfect!! solved the problem.  Haven&#039;t lost 1 chick from my second batch yet.  Will be reading all the back posts as I have time.  Thanks for sharing.&lt;br /&gt;
